In
today’s fast paced world of Information Technology,
every individual is required to be proficient in almost
every field. Being an expert of a single field is no more
the mantra for success. One needs to have equal command on
more than one field. The world has become so competitive
that there is no room for a mediocre when there are
thousands of jobless, experts in their own fields, ready
to render their expertise for peanuts.
This
is the time when these mediocre students need guidance and
a perennial source of knowledge so that they can make
themselves ready to face the competitive world. They need
help to understand the importance of acquiring the skills
that would make them stand up on their own and get through
the harsh competition with flying colours.
We,
at MindSutra, are taking up a highly ambitious initiative,
which we fondly call ‘Project GYAN’, to
help the students to acquire a cutting edge over their
competitors. ‘Project GYAN’ would help students to
acquire competency in various subjects.
To
put it in simple words, ‘Project GYAN’ is unique in
its own way. Herein, MindSutra would come out with
software CDs of Question Banks on various subjects like
General Science, Mathematics, English, Physics, Chemistry,
Biology, Geography, Political Science, Computer Science,
History, and Commerce etc. They would cater to the various
Indian Competitive examinations held all across the
country like The Combined Defense Services Examination,
The National Defense Academy Examinations, Bank
Probationary Officers Examination, various Railway Boards
Examinations, MBA entrances, MCA entrances, SSC, IAS-PCS,
IIT, PMT, etc., to name a few.
The
pattern of these Question Banks would be based on the
actual Examination pattern so that the student gets the
actual feel of the pattern and quality of questions, time
constraints involved, get practice of the speed that he
needs to master to get as many questions solved as
possible, and to devise a game-plan to tackle the
questions based either on their difficulty levels or based
on their time consumption levels. This would be of great
help to him as he would be fully prepared when he takes on
the actual examination and would come out with flying
colours.
To
provide uniqueness to the software, the students would
enjoy the luxury of configuring their own Tests. The main
features of configuring a test would be:
1.
Letting the Students set up their own question pattern in terms of
selecting the percentage of questions of various
difficulty levels for the test.
2.
Specifying the duration of the test.
3.
In
addition to the above features, the Question Banks would
give a plethora of reports on the tests taken by the
student. Some reports that could be generated are as
follows:
1.
Total test taken till date along with their results.
2.
A commentary on the tests taken.
3.
Report on the configuration of a selected test.
4.
Analysis of the student’s progress from the first test taken by
him till the most recent test.
5.
Total questions faced till date, number of correct and wrong
answers, number of them not attempted etc.
6.
Average time taken to answer one question in each difficulty level
till date.
7.
Graphical display of most of the reports.
